I’m headed to Reno this Sunday! Phew! I need a break! I had a very rough day at work yesterday & ran over so badly that I pissed off one of my oldest friends. Ugh. I didn’t have a chance to do my hair once during this whole shoot. We started shooting upon arrival Friday night & then the next morning I accidentally got my bun wet in the shower. My hair was *ALMOST* dry right around the time I got the text that we were being kicked out of the bnb on Saturday evening.

What a weekend!!! Here’s a lil video I took of myself if my epic goth lingerie dress! I got plenty of pics in it too that are still to come! 👻

So the weekend was definitely cut short. We were kinda kicked out of the air bnb we rented due to a major misunderstanding. First of all they didn’t like they we were going out into the back yard until 4:30 on Friday. Apparently the motion detectors back there was waking up the air bnb host & the elderly neighbors next door. Yikes.

Then we were hitting weed dabs out back with a torch & they neighbors though we were doing meth!!! Can you believe that??? I explained to the bnb host on the phone that it was just pot wax but... The damage was done. No substances are allowed on property.

Then they had a ring cam out back where they listened to our conversations & they were dead set that we were giving sexual favors in exchange for money on site. That was not happening at all!!! I’m pretty sure the home owners thought we were running a weekend brothel out of the house. I’m not sure what the conversation was, but all we were doing was taking photos. 😂

She told us to evacuate the property by 6pm at 5:30pm & I explained to her we might run over that time because we have so much stuff. She said we could take as long as we wanted but we broke the house rules of being quiet after midnight & having substances on property, even if it wasn’t the hard stuff that she *thought* she saw us doing on camera.

Then after we all got packed up & I was just finishing gathering my stuff, she freaking texted back & said she felt bad & we could stay if we wanted. @beccarinehart had already taken off back home. And everyone was packed up & over it. Mike, one of my photographer friends already had made other plans. I was bummed.

I wanted to shoot more. I should have just pulled my shit back in the house & done my own photos & videos but I didn’t want to stay there alone. And honestly I was so embarrassed about the whole situation that the property owner really thought we were “seeing clients” on site like that. She kept saying “no judgment but the house is not for *commercial use*.” That place was EXPENSIVE!!! And we lost out on a whole night of shooting.

I honestly feel like failure. Like it’s all my fault. I should have known we shouldn’t have smoked dabs or weed out back. The neighbors also said something about us wearing lingerie out back. We were covered though & the fence was very high. I guess they neighbors were looking from up high. It’s just tons of old mansions on that street in Louisville. Anyway, I should have told everyone to be more careful. And maybe we could have gotten much more shooting in. 😔

I miss having my “spy” cameras in my apartment. Call me crazy...
Does anyone here create & program new software? For the longest time I was using a web conferencing application to run my cameras on my old site. That way, viewers could also broadcast their cams if they wished. But this program doesn’t really run on phones. So to view & broadcast a person had to use a computer. No one uses computers anymore so I need something else.
Anyone have any ideas? I’d like to get 2 or 3 24/7 cameras back up & running. I’d love if I could also run sound but turn it off whenever I like. HD quality isn’t necessary, as that would over run my connection anyway. Also I’d love if the cameras would reconnect to a server on their own. I always had to reset the cameras multiple times a day when my internet would randomly blip out. And I will be running these cameras on older laptop. 2 or 3 of them. So the application needs to be accessible from different devices.

So at around 1:30am the door guy at the club I was dancing at approached me asking if I had a certain car. He said it was being towed out of the parking lot beside the bar... WHERE I’VE PARKED FOR YEAAAARS SINCE I STARTED DANCING AT THE GODFATHER!

“Why?!” I asked. He said that there was a situation outside & they were towing all of the cars next door. So I freaked out & ran outside in my dancing clothes (what I was wearing in the photo above). The waitress saw me trying to approach the tow men to find out what was going on & she yelled that I could get a pr0st1tut!on charge for being out there like that.
•
So I freaked out about that because I could lose my cosmetology & esthetics licenses for a sex charge of any kind (which I *DON’T* agree with btw). So I ran in & got dressed in my street clothes immediately & came back out.
•
The tow guy approached me & explained the situation. He said that the owner of that parking lot, the guy who owned that car garage, was angry that someone had scraped the fresh pavement the night before somehow with their car & called it in for everyone on that lot to be towed. My car was towed first, unfortunately. He explained that he would “do us dancers a favor” & let us get our cars out tonight. But we’d have to pay $165 *IN CASH* right then & there.

I went to ask the door man if this sounded legit. He said he was definitely hustling us for being “money makers”, but that he was legit & would give us our cars back. I went through my earnings & that was pretty much all I had made! That’s not normal at all by the way, so don’t feel to terrible for me like all I ever make at work is pennies. It was just a *VERY* slow night.

So I tell the tow douche that I have the money & then I start to seek a ride to get over there... The door guy tells me I can ride with a regular who he knows. It’s this 80 something year old man. He says he’s sober & safe. I jump in this old man’s car & we ride around the way following the tow truck.

We get to the impound lot & this mother fucking old dude asks if he can “play with my tiddies” in the god damned car for $20. I was like excuse me!!! If anything, I expected this high roller in the BMW to offer to pay the $165 to get my car out of impound. Not this bullshit. I say absolutely not & jump out of the car & rush over to pay this loser & demand a receipt. I don’t know why... Just seemed like a good idea from someone who was definitely hustling me.

I got in my car & drove back to work. At that point I find out that many of the girl’s who’s cars they towed didn’t even *have* the money to get their cars. So they got pissed & found rides home. They left. Me being a trouper & an idealist, I go back into work & get dressed to try to make my damn money back.

I didn’t. It was still super slow & I was exhausted physically & mentally from the day of helping my mom out to, from & after her surgery of getting the breast cancer removed. I basically just sat in a corner by myself the rest of the time just completely out of the mood to work.

So if you can find it in your heart to tip on this post, I’d definitely appreciate it. 😅🙏 I could seriously use the money. I’m lucky I had the cash on me last night at least. They would only accept cash only. I found out afterwards that the customers could come get their cars tomorrow for *JUST FUCKING $30* but only after 1pm. My mom’s on heavy pain killers so I’d have no way to get back over there anyway, even if I had that information before the incident.

I’ve only been able to dance twice this month due to all of my other obligations & I can’t dance again tonight because I have a wedding makeup trial early af back in Evansville. Life has been especially hard lately. 😔
