Ugh. I just got home to Evansville & unfortunately I have to go straight to bed. I have to get up from school in the morning. I wake up at 5am. Yes, I’m nuts. But to be fully *THERE* wherever I’m going, I have to wake up around 4hrs before I have to be there. We actually start school at 8:30am. And we go hard on Mondays until around 5. I don’t know when we’re actually supposed to get dismissed because it’s never the same time.

I have a text tomorrow I just found out. I mean, I write these things down but never look back at my notes to see what is happening next or what is due. We have a group chat I started with the other students that I get that info from. I’m sure they think I’m lazy, but I’ve had enough of keeping up with schooling. I will take the shortest routes possible at this point.

Anyway, I guess I’ll half assed study for the test when I get up in the morning. Wish me luck! Massage school is kinda a lot harder than I originally thought. There’s a lot of science & anatomy. It’s way harder than cosmetology school or esthetics school. But not quite as hard as regular college. It’s just mainly time & energy consuming. And I have very little extra time or energy these days.

I did *NOT* make it up to Night Moves last night due to exhaustion. I actually had to work at the salon yesterday & I never work on weekends. Then I had to pick up a script from a friend who prints them out for me at the college (it’s free this way! Otherwise it’s been up to $96 per script at Fed Ex!). And the college is way across town. And lastly I had to go get my bloodwork that I have to get either once a month or as much as weekly. Annoying!

So after all of that I decided to take an evening for myself! My best friend & I went to get our tiny “diet meals” we eat at Los Bravos (lol) & then we ended up doing some much needed shopping. I was out of all of my necessities here at my apt since I never have time to shop!

We finished the night by watching a movie I had a small part in called The Embalmers! I can actually direct you to the director now to buy this movie if you’d like! Just inbox me & I’ll give you the info!!! You can get a signed copy too! It’s freaking awesome!!! It’s a wild ride like you wouldn’t believe!

Today I will head up to Bloomington to dance at Night Moves for just tonight. I’m excited to get away & see all the girls there again. The environment for me is just so much more healthy than it is at other clubs I dance at, which is why I don’t at all mind making the drive!

Btw, my vacation in South Carolina is coming to an end bright & early tomorrow morning. We’ll be leaving the house for the airport at around 7am & arriving in Nashville at around 10 or 11am. Then we have to weather the 2hr treck back home through the terrible Nashville traffic.

When we finally get back to Evansville, I have to force myself to catch up on my massage school homework. Which is always a ridiculous amount of pointless busy work that doesn’t really do any special for my personal learning process. I mainly learn by just being present & interactive in class. Rewriting the book or vocabulary terms doesn’t do much other than annoy me & waste my very limited time. I’m curious, how do *you* learn best?

Oh, & of course we have another test on Tuesday that I need to study for too. And by study I mean just review the chapter’s terms on quizlet. Quizlet is literally how I passed all of my college courses. It’s a god send so you don’t even have to read your text books. I love it! Try it if you’re in any kind of class that uses textbooks!
Having an awesome time on the set of He Knows (the movie)! Amber, my character in He Knows, has definitely become a huge part of my irl personality. She’s brazen af & a lil hood. I needed her in my life!
This is the crazy part about playing these various roles in these awesome indie horror movies that I’ve been blessed to be apart of in the last few years... Having opportunity & an outlet to let the many sides of my personality shine in healthy ways is freaking *AMAZING*!
I have ALWAYS wanted to act. But when I was a kid doing theater & drama in school I was too scared to take on speaking roles. So instead I did featured dancing parts & chorus (I *LOVE* musicals) because I was super confident in my dancing & singing, but for some reason I felt shy about speaking in front of others. That was silly, I’ve found out. Cause it’s actually pretty darn easy & fun to be different people in front of a camera! 😉
I am seen in these photos *SHINING* on set. Having years of dramatic training from school & finally being able to use the skills my favorite teacher taught to me, is awesome. I wish I could find her & tell her how I’m using the tools she gave me now!!! The experience I had on stage with her & other directors back then has been invaluable to this new part of my life. Even if I mostly just sang & danced my ass off during those productions.
My point here is, if you wanna do something, put fear on the back burner & just *TRY*. You might just shock yourself! And no matter what happens, the journey will make one hell of a story when you’re old & gray!

We’re gonna party like it’s 1999 cause this is her 40th birthday & she’s getting a divorce this year. I think making it through 40 years of life & *out* of a unfulfilling marriage are both huge reason’s to celebrate, don’t you?

They are my favorite family in the world, honestly & they always welcome me with such open arms. It’s wonderful spending time with them. Especially since I rarely spend much time with my own family.

I’ve been ill all day! 🤒 I got his with major dizziness, nausea & tiredness this morning & it’s almost gone... But still lingering a little. I actually had to call into work at the salon, which I’ve never done! I had a full book today too. ☹️

I’m starting to feel normal now though... Finally at 10:30pm. After sleeping an entire day away. My mom thinks this was a delayed effect of my second covid shot. But there’s also been a stomach bug going around town. It hit several people at the spa I attend massage school at last week & then I saw several people got it at the bar I danced at on Saturday too.

Yeah. It’s not like it happens everyday but it’s happened a noticeable enough times. Is dating a sex worker really that terrible? Especially one that does not go that far like me? Like what do I do or have done that’s so bad? I’ve literally not even slept with that many men. I mean, probably less than you would guess based on my professional background.
