Looking a bit like a forest nymph here. We shot earlier in the morning and got eaten alive by mosquitoes. Rinsed off to stop the itching and all of my makeup smudged and ran so I took it off. I think we hopped around more than we shot because the bugs were so bad and the sun was too bright.

Here's a ribbon you can untie ;) Snow comes and goes here, but I have a real tree inside for the first time, decked out in popcorn, pinecones, lights and some ornaments from my travels. I cut the tree down myself at a local tree farm. The tradition is a bit silly, but it smells delightful. I felt better knowing they don't clear cut and their forest is regenerative. Not sure I'd partake if that wasn't the case. What winter and holiday traditions do you have?

Friday abstraction. This was an interesting shoot in the way it surprised me... The pretense was fine art bodyscapes. In the end, the images I was given were erotic, and were going to be sold on erotic websites. When I'm paid I don't have control of where the finals go or how they appear, but I appreciate communication upfront. What do you think - is this still a "fine art bodyscape", or does it cross a line into erotic?

I've been going through very old shoots recently. I have a folder called "Old", and a subfolder "WontUse." This shoot was in there. Not sure why I didn't like this set at the time. The semi-fisheye and retro colours are unique, and I have a soft spot for my super short haircut. Appropriate for a Thursday throwback.

Just some shots between an outfit change and adding a bit of sass. Hope you all are having a great weekend. A little update for you too - my studio is fully insulated, and painted, with a fancy new heat pump. I have some studio flats ready to use as a backdrop, and I've purchased a tripod. Looking forward to getting in there are dusting off the robe. There's some gorgeous afternoon light that spills in on the walls. Do you have any photoset requests, other than just blatantly shooting porn for you? LOL

Another Friday closeup you've been waiting for. It's a bit strange being an art model, and then being asked for shots like this. I'd prefer to be clean-shaven, no different than making sure my legs are shaved and moisturized before a shoot, but then I guess this is more spontaneous and real. This was for a "one hour in a room" workshop.

Same studio, back of the couch this time. Pretty sure this was a light test.I love working with this photographer, but his mind always moved quicker than his finger on the shutter. We'd shoot 5-10 photos in an area before he had a new idea. It was a constant mad dash from one area of the studio to another, chasing light, outfits, and personalities.

This one's a bit blurry but I like the mood and pose. I always found this studio a bit grubby. Notice the deteriorating couch. My feet were always black after posing here but it was in my neighbourhood so I was always thankful when I could walk to a gig.

Lee had a pro hair and makeup artist attend this shoot. We took a few cute glamour photos like this, but the rest of the day was fine art. He's another photographer who knows how to handle light and tone. I think he had 2 assistants with him just to carry his equipment. I was always impressed with the scope of the projects we worked on together.
