Unfortunately, I just lost my contest so I’m really going through it right now. It once again came down to a bid war where the other closest contestant was willing to pay for her votes to advance. I appreciate all of you voting throughout this journey!!
I’m heart broken because I truly believed I could win. But, alas, it didn’t work out. I will never ever enter another contest like this again. It was so stressful!!!! I just did someone’s hair in exchange for $100 in votes & like, I’m broke. I don’t get any of that wasted money. Of course, I feel it’s worth it going to charity & to the magazine, which probably is suffering for sales right now, since most printed media is struggling.
So hopefully my efforts were not all in vain!!! Thank you all for putting in your daily votes. You made me feel like a huge winner, regardless of the sad outcome. I will continue to follow the contest though. I am kinda excited to see who does win! I hope it will be someone in the indie horror industry. We deserve more press!
