Iāve been trying to get my payment for the extra work I did in Kentucky in November since December. They sent me the wrong rate & only paid me for a single day at that wrong rate. So they still owe me quite a bit, unfortunately.
Anyhow, Iām trying to get it straightened out cause the whole production was a bit of a hassle & I feel like I deserve what I was offered. Like, I didnāt know that as an extra on a project you may not know if you are needed &/or what time you are needed until late the night before. And the call time could be at 6am after say, you find out that youāre needed at 11pm.
It was pretty stressful to me considering Iām used to booking out my exact set days MONTHS in advance for the other projects Iām in bigger roles for.
Also, because Iāve been so insistent about this payment, I feel like Iāve burnt a bridge with this casting company for being ādifficultā, which isnāt really fair. I was supposed to be paid a certain amount & I wasnāt. And after the production was over, it was not easy getting ahold of them about the payment situation. So like, how is this on me?
Pheeeew! Anyway, good news! My bloodpressure is back down!!! Yay! š I like to always end on a good note after venting my lil heart out. š
