Oh yeah... The doctor told me yesterday that I'm a very unlucky girl. Which means my past LUNG (specific) history, having chronic asthma growing up, pnemonia 3x as a kid & the pulmonary embolism from a few years back AND my generalized anxiety disorder... I am not recommended to wear a mask for long periods of time according to CDC guidelines. HOWEVER, with my overall health history including many of the things I just mentioned, I would be at great risk to go without a mask at this time. Because if I DID contract covid, I'd most likely be a goner. So I really don't know what to do...
Like, should I just quit my spa job? Even though they've given a hell of an opportunity there to grow and to become the cosmetologist that I truly want to be. They said I can take a few more weeks off if it would make me feel more comfortable but who knows when we'll NOT be wearing masks. And after having this conversation with my boss, they posted on their social media that they're looking for another stylist. Lol great. there is another chair available though so hopefully they aren't planning for me to leave or anything. But seriously, I feel very trapped right now which all this Covid crap. I'm sure some of you have also had issues arise because of the quarantine.
I just want you all to know how important you guys are in my life right now. I haven't been able to dance in a club for like 2 months because of all this & then it was the same with doing hair, not that I make barely ANYTHING off of doing hair. But that is, of course, something that has to be built up over time when doing hair. But you guys pretty much are keeping me COMPLETELY afloat right now & you have been for nearly two months. I truly appreciate you!

So, I totally passed out at work yesterday because I just couldn’t breathe in my mask. I AM TERRIFIED this is going to start being a thing. Has anyone else experienced anything like this wearing a mask in public?
I have terrible lungs anyway, so my oxygen levels are always low... But my friend took my oxygen level when she got off of work & here was 98 & mine was 79. Like, when my mask was off & I was sitting down.
That’s kinda normal for me. Even at the doctor’s office or hospital it’s NEVER over 89-90. Wearing a mask of like suffocating. I remember the first time I used one to go to the store. I kept aaking my friend, “Can you breathe? I’m having a REALLY hard time getting air.”
She’s was fine & we were wearing the SAME masks. I’m really freaked out by this... 😩

Me & my friend we’re hired to gogo dance for the ball. We ended up only dancing for about 30-40 minutes & then we partied for the rest of the night. It was wild how INTO IT the other attendees were! I mean they’re really about that 90’s vampire aesthetic in the most extreme way.
I actually wanted to keep dancing longer but I couldn’t find my partner/friend throughout most of the night. I was low key pissed. But I should have just sucked it up & went & danced by myself. But I’m always so in my head about things... 😕
I probably don’t seem like it to all of you loyal & amazing friends, but I’m actually weird, shy & insanely unsure of myself. I. HATE. IT. I’m constantly working on it though.
To make matters weirder, even though the event promoter that originally hired me to gogo was PISSED, HE HIRED US AGAIN! 😂 To gogo at the next Endless Night in Los Angelos. But he hired my friend to “host”. Basically all them meant was get in free, dress up super hot & talk to other event goers. Instead we totally didn’t do shit again. 😆
She & I just hung out with our buds in the group we went with. I actually TRIED to dance & kept asking event coordinators when a& where I should dance but they kept saying later... later.
By the time I saw other dancers on stage dancing I didn’t go up to dance with them. I was embarrassed that I dressed in all red. The main promoter insisted that my friend & I dress in all red with romantic vibes. Kinda like he made us all dress in white for the ‘Nola party.
The other dancers were in HUGE platform boots & all this industrial/cyber goth stuff. I looked like an all red bride of Dracula. I actually ended up wearing that dress for a scene in C@nnibal Hookers!!! Anyway, I was embarrassed & felt self conscious for being in red ballet shoes & a red flowy (but super sexy & sheer) dress while they were in metallic silver bikinis & huge Frankenstein boots. 🤣🤣🤣
I should have said fuck it & danced. Dancing is literally the one thing that makes me feel the MOST alive. I will always regret not dancing that night. But hey, at least I got into a several hundred dollar party for free, right?
