I'm taking on a different workout program.. lighter weights, more functional movements, in order to help my body stop trying to resist what I've been putting it through. Aches, pains, tightness... my body is telling me to cool it a bit. So that's what I'm doing. I'm never going to compete. All I want is to be healthy and fit.
Yesterday's bike ride was incredible. I figured it was going to be quite challenging, but I felt very strong. It was the first time I'd been on my bike in months due to lower back issues.
I've started incorporating yoga as well.
There will come a time again for heavy weightlifting, but for now, I'm taking a different approach. That's one thing great about fitness. There are multiple opportunities and possibilities.✨️💯

I climbed up the side of the mountain by myself because I wanted to see the bottom of the cliff. I took bear spray with me because bears had been sighted in the area. My husband stayed down below because he's getting old.😂 (His words.😜)

I felt like a model these past three days. It was so much fun, and I'm very pleased with how the photos and videos turned out. Most of the credit goes to my husband who went out of his way with his creativity and photography. (I have lots of new content to share over the next few weeks.)

OMG...😅 I put on dark black makeup, but it simply did not work with the lighting in my house. I didn't want to use my ring light, so I took the makeup off and went more natural. Natural just works for me. At least tonight it does. When it comes to makeup, my mantra is, "Less is more."

This is my "extra" warm up before my daily workouts. I have tight hamstrings and low back muscles, so I make sure to warm them up extra, and this is a great full body warm up as well. As I get older, I'm having to make some changes. Notice how I go slowly into my forward fold.😂
