this sign was honestly wild to see also lol. September is also one of the hottest months in Vegas so lots of the trails are closed fully but some are still open and you can go off trail too a bit into the desert

The weather conditions cause the iron oxide in the rocks to quite literally rust which is what makes them red and black etc like this! It's also why they almost look painted sometimes. The more you know!
