Someone recently reminded me that even if you don’t celebrate Thanksgiving, it’s important to take a moment every day to practice gratitude. That stuck with me, so today I want to share a few things I’m especially thankful for:
1) Hot baths – They’ve been my ultimate comfort after long, hard days at school. Nothing beats soaking away the stress and unwinding completely.
2) The opportunity to go to college – I’m deeply grateful for the privilege of pursuing an education, especially knowing that in some parts of the world, women aren’t even allowed to attend school. The chance to chase my passions and enrich my mind every day is something I’ll never take for granted.
3) All of you – Truly, I wouldn’t be where I am today without you guys -I definitely would not have been able to afford college without you. To those who are new here, thank you so much for giving me a chance. And to those of you who have been with me from the beginning, I’m endlessly grateful for your loyalty and for sticking around for all my debauchery.
