2022-04-29 13:50:59 +0000 UTC View PostSometimes I love to top my soaps with fresh flower pedals or botanicals, in this soap I’ve used calendula petals!🌼 Calendula has great antifungal and antimicrobial properties that help prevent infection and heal injuries to body tissues. It also has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant components. Using flower petals and botanicals on top of my soaps doesn’t just make them look beautiful, but also brings amazing properties to the soap itself! 😄
2022-04-27 19:59:57 +0000 UTC View PostOnce a month I’ve been making it a point to go and get a facial, and my skin has never looked better!🧖♀️✨ They are so relaxing and have so many benefits like circulating 🩸 flow to help with puffiness, and helping you get that deep cleanse to help clear out any impurities. I would highly recommend going in for a monthly facial, your skin will thank you🥹

2022-04-22 19:45:22 +0000 UTC View PostLet’s talk a little about melt and pour soaps! 🧼 The melt and pour soaping method is done using a soap base, like the ones I’m holding here. All you need to do is simply melt it down, customize it by adding any additives, and pour it in to a mold to harden. This is absolutely the fastest and easiest method of soap making! The melt and pour soap base you use to melt down has already been through the saponification process, meaning it is ready to use straight out of the mold.🤩 For anyone who is looking to make their own soaps, this is a great place to start! Plus, it is safe to make with children since there is no sodium hydroxide (lye) involved in this process.

2022-04-07 19:39:26 +0000 UTC View PostGood morninggg☺️ Something that I love about soapmaking is that I am constantly learning new things, new techniques, new ingredients, how to make my recipes better, things that will just overall benefit me as well as anyone who uses my soaps. I have recently discovered natural tussah silk, which can be used for soap making, spinning, blending, felting, dyeing, and paper making! It is supposed to give your soaps a more silky, and luxurious feeling, as well as making it shinier in appearance.✨ Who wouldn’t want that? I can’t wait to start Incorporating this stuff into my soaps!! I have a feeling I will be using it allll the time. 😄

2022-04-04 19:00:34 +0000 UTC View PostHappy SUNday ☀️😉 I hope you all had an awesome week!! Today I’m gonna be making my own indigo blue infused oil to use in a new batch of soap I’m planning.💙 indigo blue is a natural blue powder that has been used for thousands of years to dye clothing and cosmetics. In cold process soaps, this powder gives the soap a beautiful denim blue color!👖🤩 The name indigo blue actually gives away the origin of where it came from, India! 😍 A long time ago, this beautiful blue powder was very rare, and only obtainable by royalty because of its extremely high price. Now it is accessible to all! For that I am very grateful, this is the perfect choice in soap making for those who want a pop of true blue in their soaps, but choose to achieve that color naturally. 😌
